What began as a pairing of Mickie Meinhardt’s favorite things, has been transformed into a magical place for wine and book lovers. The Buzzed Word is a bookstore, natural wine store, and wine bar, located on 11805 Coastal Highway, Unit C, Ocean City, MD.
The Buzzed Word is officially open and Mickie is ready to share her two favorite things with the community. Visit for books, bottles, snacks, and an escape from everyday life!
Where Books Meet Wine
Mickie Meinhardt, the owner, wine lover, writer, and Ocean City native, began The Buzzed Word in 2019 on Instagram, pairing books with wines. As the series grew, it became “Books & Bottles,” a live event in New York and Washington, D.C. Now, the storefront is already becoming a beloved asset in town. PLUS stay tuned for monthly book-and-wine club subscriptions!
